Musicradar.com: Features on Software Synths and John Frusciante
Two solid offerings from the folks at Music Radar: My interest in all things involving 80′s era synths made me notice the feature called 10 Greatest Synths of All Time… In Software! — a solid survey of plug-ins and modern emulations of these classic instruments. I was especially happy to see the SonicProjects Oberheim OB-X Plug-in get a nod — I’ve been missing those Prince-Circa-Purple-Rain-Era-Sounds
since I switched to a Mac.
The other feature is a video clip tutorial about the guitar style of John Frusciante
, the Part-Time Chili Pepper
who is a full-time guitar god to many.
