- 1Password and Dropbox
Rob Griffiths (a MacWorld Contributing Editor and the creator of the Mac OS X Hints site) demonstrates something that I’ve been doing — and loving — for a while: Using Dropbox to synchronize your 1Password data across all your Macs! LINK TO VIDEO HERE
1Password is one of a slew of newer applications that help regular people (not just the Über-geeky) to make and use stronger passwords. Though some might disagree, I think that the risk of not using a strong password is greater than the risk from sending encrypted password data via https onto an encrypted server. Highly recommended!

Already, Amazon.com has a TON of electronics on sale. Cult of Mac’s list of iPhone apps on sale over the holiday weekend is also a good resource to check out, as is Mac|Life’s Black Friday Deals page.
