Here in New York, the weather has taken a beautiful turn: The sun is shining and, out my window, I can see people smiling and laughing while they walk down the street. “Out my window”? Yup – because I’ve been busy sitting at my desk, churning out AppleScripts for all you good Mac people.1
So before I join the frolicking masses, I thought I’d share a few of the latest updates and additions to the Veritrope.com Code Library. Hope you enjoy them and be sure to check back here when you take a break from playing in the spring sunshine. Who knows… there may be some more goodies2 coming soon!:

- Export Apple Mail Messages into Evernote. I was sick and tired of waiting for Apple to fix the bug which broke this script for Lion users — so I hammered on it until I finally figured out a way to work around the problem (Hooray!) I also took the opportunity to tighten up a few other things and, so far, it seems to be working better than ever! Updates are now available in both English and Japanese language versions.
- Day One is a new journal / diary / text logging application for the Mac which is getting a lot of notice for its elegant design. I wrote the beginnings of a script which lets you import Evernote items into Day One directly.
- Minor Updates and Fixes. Both the Outlook 2011-to-Evernote and the Outlook 2011-to-OmniFocus scripts received a minor update after one kind reader pointed out that it would be, uh, helpful for Meeting information to include the Meeting’s organizer. The Delicious to Evernote Bookmark Importer also received a small bug fix.
