Is your Gmail out right now? Here’s a temporary work-around!
Work-around for those affected by the latest GMail outage.
When Gmail sneezes, the whole internet starts acting like it’s caught a cold.
According to GMail’s Network Status page, IMAP and POP access to your account should still be working (otherwise known as “Using an email program the old-school way”). So here’s GMail’s webpage on how to set up a variety of programs to check and send your mail until the web portal is fixed.

Is Your Twitter Out?
Twitter is out; Facebook, LiveJournal, and others are glitchy. What’s up with the internet today?
There are reports of a major Twitter outage this morning (which appears to be worldwide), as well as intermittent glitches with Facebook and LiveJournal.
Twitter’s status page seems to show that this wasn’t a planned outage (see pic)…. and even Veritope’s servers seems affected.
